Arnold’s Cove is the largest community in the local area and as such is the economic hub and service centre of the Avalon Peninsula isthmus region. 

Some of the services available in our town include a pharmacy, a K-12 regional school, recreation facilities, a motel with restaurant and bar, an inn, a 32 unit level one personal care home, a 20 apartment subsidized housing unit for seniors, a Home Hardware store, a Foodland grocery store and a range of other business such as a fish processing plant, two lobster and fish buyers and a crude oil transshipment terminal. Arnold’s Cove enjoys the best of a rural setting while enjoying the close proximity to major facilities such a hospital in Clarenville (½ hr) and international airport in St. John’s (1½hr).
